God Came to Us
Reading Time: 8 Minutes
God Came Because He Loves
For God so loved the world, that he gave his only born Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish, but have eternal life. For God didn’t send his Son into the world to judge the world, but that the world should be saved through him. He who believes in him is not judged. He who doesn’t believe has been judged already, because he has not believed in the name of the only born Son of God. John 3:16-18 WEB
In The Beautiful Dream, Jesus came to me—not the other way around. His eyes appeared black because He saw me in my darkness and came to set me free. God loves every person uniquely and perfectly. It doesn’t matter what you have done, good or bad, where you came from, how much money you have or what you look like. God doesn’t love you any less or any more than any other person on earth. God loves you with an extravagant perfect love!
He causes His sun to rise on the evil and the good, and sends rain on the righteous and the unrighteous. Matthew 5:45b NASB
God created us and loved us before we ever knew Him. That is why He sent His Son, Jesus, to take the punishment for our sin. God, our Father, wanted His sons and daughters sitting at His Table again, enjoying the freedom and love that only He can give!
We love him, because he first loved us. 1 John 4:19 WEB
God Came to Adam & Eve
The first two people on earth, Adam and Eve, walked and talked with God in the atmosphere of His pure Agape Love. God had given them purpose, destiny, responsibilities and perfect satisfaction in the assignments He delegated to them. They never lacked the love, strength, wisdom or joy to rule the earth peacefully as God had asked them to do. They lived in God’s presence on earth– in the presence of Love Himself!
Because God loved Adam and Eve so much, He warned them about the dangers of disobeying Him. God’s words of warning were life and love for them. But one day they listened to Satan’s deceptive reasoning and disobeyed God anyway. Their obedience to Satan hurled them into the spiritual satanic domain. Adam and Eve became spiritually dead. (Ephesians 2:1-2) Because of their sin, mankind inherited a sinful spiritual nature and a sentence of death. This meant that every person’s body would eventually die. But worse than that, it meant that when they died physically, they would be spiritually separated from God for eternity in hell where there is no love at all. But God didn’t stop loving humanity! He loved us so much that He had a plan to bring us back into His arms– into His Kingdom!
God Sent Jesus Christ
For while we were still helpless, at the right time Christ died for the ungodly. (For rarely will anyone die for a righteous person, though for a good person perhaps someone might possibly dare to die.). But God demonstrates his own love for us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us. Romans 5:6-8 NET
In The Beautiful Dream, Jesus came and gave me eternal life. Darkness and evil left my inner self and I was filled with unimaginable love and joy. All I did was say, “Yes” to the invitation to dance with Jesus. In the same way, we can’t earn God’s gift of salvation. In this world, if someone owes money, they must work to pay off the debt. If they commit a crime, they do time in jail to earn their release. But the Kingdom of God is totally different.
The Blood Sacrifice
For we all have become like one who is [ceremonially] unclean [like a leper], and all our deeds of righteousness are like filthy rags… Isaiah 64:6a AMP
Only the blood-sacrifice of a perfect, sinless person can take our sin-debt away. That sinless person is Jesus, God’s Son!
According to the law almost everything is purified with blood, and without the shedding of blood there is no forgiveness. Hebrews 9:22 CSB
God Loved us so much that He sent His only Son, Jesus, to earth as a baby, to be born from a virgin named Mary. Jesus did not inherit a sinful nature because God’s Holy Spirit placed Jesus in Mary’s womb. God’s Son was born like us, grew up around sinful people and was tempted to sin just like us—but He always chose not to sin.
Immanuel– God is With Us
Look! The virgin will conceive a child! She will give birth to a son, and they will call him Immanuel, which means “God is with us.” Matthew 1:23 NLT
Jesus, Immanuel, came to us! When He was 30 years old, He began to teach about God, heal the sick, and drive demons out of people setting them free! After three years of ministry, the religious leaders of His day were so jealous of Jesus that they had Him beaten and nailed to a cross. Jesus never fought back because He knew that His death was going to bring us life! And three days after Jesus died, God raised His Son, Jesus, from the dead! Jesus came to earth knowing He would die a brutal death! That’s how much He loves us!
Forgiveness of Sin
… They killed him by hanging him on a cross, but God raised him from the dead on the third day and caused him to be seen… All the prophets testify about him that everyone who believes in him receives forgiveness of sins through his name. Acts 10:39-40,43 NIV
Our eternal death sentence has been paid in full by Jesus! Those who receive Jesus, instantly receive God’s mercy and free gift of grace– eternal life! We are made holy and righteous by believing that Jesus, God’s Son, came and died to pay the penalty for our sin. He is alive again, proving that He is the King of Kings and Lord of Lords.
Our Creator Can Bring You Back to Life!
When we put our faith in Jesus and His sacrifice on the cross, the Holy Spirit causes us to be born-again spiritually. (John 3:1-21) God’s Spirit comes inside us so that we personally know God and can follow Him every day of our lives!
The true light that enlightens everyone was coming into the world. He was in the world, and the world was made through him, and the world didn’t recognize him. He came to his own, and those who were his own didn’t receive him. But as many as received him, to them he gave the right to become God’s children, to those who believe in his name: who were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God. John 1:9-13 WEB
God is one God. He is “three persons” in one: the Father, the Son (Jesus) and the Holy Spirit (the Trinity) in perfect unity. (Matthew 28:19-20) Jesus is God. He came into the very world He created! Everyone that puts their faith in Jesus is born-again by the Holy Spirit and becomes God’s child in God’s Kingdom. One day, we will be with God in Heaven. But until then, we must be seated with God spiritually in the heavenly realms—so we can follow God’s lead. (Ephesians 2:1-10) That means we pay attention to God’s Spirit and follow our King through Him. This is the Gospel, the Good News of God’s Kingdom!
Jesus Came Because He Loves!
Those who reject God’s offer of eternal life and refuse to follow Jesus into the Kingdom of God are choosing to serve the ruler of the kingdom of the air (the devil). This means eternal separation from God in hell after death. But there is no reason for anyone to reject their Creator and Savior! Jesus Loves us so much that He came to save us! Everyone is invited to be born-again by the Spirit!
There is salvation in no one else! God has given no other name under heaven by which we must be saved. Acts 4:12 NLT
Jesus is going to come back to earth again one day. But this time He will not come as a baby and a Savior, but as King and Judge. He will take those who follow Him to His Kingdom in Heaven. But for now, we can be seated with God spiritually and experience a relationship with God here on earth!
Jesus has come to you. He invites you to be forgiven, free of guilt and shame, and to become a temple of God’s Holy Spirit. You can have a real relationship with God and experience the freeing power of His Love every day of your life! He will reveal your God-given destiny and empower you to fulfill it. I hope you will say yes to Jesus. His “dance” is full of grace and supernatural Love!
Simply talk with God. Tell Jesus that you want to follow Him, to be forgiven, born-again by the Holy Spirit and reconciled with your Father in Heaven. He will remove you from the kingdom of darkness and will bring you into Himself– into His Kingdom. You will become “one” with Jesus, God’s wonderful Son!
