My Story

Childhood

My story began as a missionary kid, born and raised in Asuncion, Paraguay. Paraguay was very closed to the Gospel when my parents first arrived. I was honored to watch them as they brought the Good News of Jesus to the beautiful nation of Paraguay.

Marriage And Ministry

I met my wonderful husband, Mark, at Samford University in the state of Alabama. We were married in 1978, while already immersed in ministry at Kingwood Church, Alabaster, AL. After five years of youth ministry, Mark served as lead pastor at a church in Springfield, Missouri named Faith Assembly. At the same time, he worked on his Master’s Degree in Biblical languages. A year and a half later we returned to Kingwood Church where he has served as an associate pastor.

Mark is an amazing minister of God, gifted in leading, teaching, giving sound counsel and training disciples. His love for history also compliments the calling on his life. One of his greatest strengths is the God-given ability to tell stories well. Mark is the author of two great books, “Call It Incredible” and “Is That You Coolidge?”

Family

Mark and I love each other more than ever! We have two gorgeous daughters, two handsome and amazing sons-in-law, and seven amazing grandchildren. One of our greatest joys is being able to watch our daughters and their families loving and serving the Lord. God has been so gracious to us and we are eternally grateful!

My Passion

I witnessed the land of my childhood, Paraguay, come into a place of greater freedom and light. Now I am watching a battle between the kingdom of darkness and the Kingdom of Light intensify in the nation of my earthly citizenship, the United States of America.

My passion is to hear God’s voice more clearly. I don’t want to miss His purpose and calling for my life in this season. So, I am pressing in to know Jesus like never before. It seems that God’s children around the world are doing the same! Despite the increase in wickedness, we are beginning to see the greatest spiritual awakening the United States has ever experienced. I desire to be fully awake and shining as it unfolds!
